A veteran broadcaster with 25 years of media experience in all facets of television, radio and the internet, Paymar formed his own media and presentation consultancy, Paymar Communications Group in 2001.

Utilizing many years of experience behind the camera as an anchorman, correspondent and writer, he took his finely honed communications skills from behind the camera to train executives in major corporations across the country.

Media and presentation training clients include financial giants, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo Bank, Barclays Global Investors, ING Investment Management and ABN AMRO.

He has also trained executives at PepsiCo, Allstate, Pfizer, Time Inc., Citigroup Smith Barney, Novartis, BNP Paribas, Pepsi Bottling Group and the Globe.com.

Paymar has also worked in corporate television with Hewlett Packard, Met Life, PG&E, Levi Strauss and Thomson Financial.

He’s partnered on training projects with numerous communications companies including CommCore Consulting, Financial Dynamics, Citigate Sard Verbinen, Civiello and Rowland.

Paymar also served as Executive Vice President and Director of Communications for the Boston based Initiative for a Competitive Inner City.

During 25 years in broadcasting, Paymar anchored and reported the news for CNBC specializing in corporate profiles, interviewing CEO’s at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, America Online, Delta, Home Depot, Aetna, UPS, Yahoo, Cisco Systems, Oracle and Dell Computer.

Paymar has also interviewed the Chairmen of the SEC, NASDAQ, Pacific and Philadelphia Stock Exchanges.

He also anchored and reported for FOX Broadcasting Network, NBC4 and ABC7 the network flagship stations in New York City, NBC4 San Francisco, ABC11 San Jose and ABC4 Seattle. His career began in radio at CKDA in Victoria, B.C.

He’s interviewed politicians from President Jimmy Carter, to California Governor Jerry Brown to New York City Mayors Rudy Giuliani, David Dinkins and Ed Koch.

Paymar served as General Manager of KCNS in San Francisco and was Editorial Director at KNTV in San Jose. Paymar has been awarded four Emmy’s, two UPI awards and a National Headliner award for journalistic excellence.

Paymar has a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Minnesota and is a certified teacher. He also attended the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, Business Journalist Seminar Program.
